... is it;
a heirloom or an heirloom
'an' for some reason just sounds so much better, and in the case of my story sounds much more dramatic (which is what I need), but common sense tells me that its 'a'. Perhaps it's a special exception where you can say both? I even tried googling a heirloom and an heirloom, and theres alot of websites who write it each way...
(PS: The sentence it's in is "Vivification of an Heirloom" or... a Heirloom >_>)

I got to play the Wii the other day, who wants to touch me?

So yea... I was at the Montreal Festival Arcadia the other day, since our school gets tickets for Free. It was a pretty interesting place, although I found they didnt really make good use of the room they had. They had alot of big open areas with like absolutly nothing in them. Highlight of the Show of course, was the Wii. It was definitly getting all the attention, the line-up's to play were incredibly long the further the day progressed.
I went there with 2 friends of mine. Since we didnt feel like waiting in line 1 at a time for each game, we decided to each take a game (out of the 5 playable games they had; Zelda Twilight Princess, Warioware: Smooth Moves, Excitetruck, Rayman Raving Rabbids, and Wii Sports) and get in line for it. I played Wario Ware, and one of them took Zelda, the other took Excitetruck. All 3 of us played Rayman though, because it was the only game which flowed smoothly and the lines we're quick.
I'll just say, playing with the Wii was incredibly fun. The Wiimote is actually Smaller than I though. But it felt really good in your hands. It didn't feel too heavy that it bothered me, and it didn't feel too light that I would throw it by accident. Probably the only gripe I had against the controller was the Analog Stick on the Nunchuck, which was flat with a little edge around the perimeter (unlike the Gamecube controller which has like 3-4 Circular edges accross the top)
Rayman:Raving Rabbids. The demo was 2-player simultaneous mini-game thing. It was a type of "Time Crisis" Arcade Shooter game. The Camera moves on its own with certain timing, and you aim and shoot. Using the Wii-Mote to shoot was super precise and sensitive, which I liked alot. It took some time to get used to the distanced it moved, but for the most part it was really fun. You shake the Nunchuck to Reload, and that was alot of fun to do too. It's kind of like "Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, Shake!" We beat the demo too, so we rock.
Warioware: Smooth Moves. Now this game was freggin hilarious. This was the game I played of the 5, and I was laughing while playing it, cause its just so silly. I loved Warioware on the GameCube cause it was just a wacky party-game that you could play, but with the Wii-Mote its just so much more fun, and funnier. It's the same principal, except alot more innovative use of the Wiimote. Before each mini-game, theres a little diagram which tells you how to hold the controller. Then the mini-game begins. My favorite position by-far was when you had to hold the Wii-mote like a Wine Bottle, with your hand wrapped accross the top, and your Thumb on-top of the Pointer Sensor. Then the Mini-Game starts and you had to Shake the controller up and down, and the On-screen guy followed your movements as he was shaking his Bottle of Champaigne, Then you Release your Thumb to let the Cork go flying. Another one I liked was how you had to hold it like an Umbrella, hand wrapped accross the middle with it in an upwright position. Then the game starts, and you have to make the Character Drink the Glass of water without spilling it on his face. So you lift the Wii-Mote towards your face as if you were Drinking a Glass of water and then the guy on-screen mimic's you exactly. Unfortunatly, Warioware is those kind of "Rent-Only" games, since you'll probably play all the mini-games in 1 sitting. Fun none-the-less.
Zelda Twilight Princess. I didnt get to play this one, but from the short moment my friend got to play he said it was incredibly fluid and fun to play. The only thing he didnt like, was that in Ocarina/Majora/Wind Waker he always went into the Options and made the Lock-On Function "Toggle" instead of "Hold". So he wasnt used to Holding Lock-On while playing. He said "I was playing and didnt even realize that I was shaking the Wiimote to attack, it felt so good". So yea, You know Zelda TP is gonna be sexy, go buy it.
Excitetruck My other friend played it, and said its really cool how you can get those gigantic jumps, and then while your in the air you can tilt the wii-mote to get a perfect 4-wheel landing and get EVEN more boost power. He also said it's very arcade'ish, which is expected from an Excitebike remake.
Wii Sports none of us got to play it, and none of us feel bad about it since it comes packaged with the Console which is coming out in 6-7 days. But judging by the fact that it had really long line ups, I am guessing it was really popular.
Other Highlights; Gears of War 8-Player LAN was freggin amazing. My team won like 10 in a row, so we kept on playing (since it was loser out), and eventually got a Free Cap for pwning so hard
PS3 was no where to be seen (LOL)
Kudos, Go buy a Wii everyone!

k, whoever at Square-Enix had the bright idea of inventing this Mist Charge Quickening Shit of a Limit Break, deserves to have stones thrown at them.
Firstly, I'd like to state that Quickenings are the most retarded form of Limit Break in a Final Fantasy ever. It's like Selphie's Limit Break from FF8 but for the entire team... all at once... and uses up your entire MP bar which basically handicaps you if you use it in a boss fight and the boss does not die.
Secondly, I'd like an explanation on Mist Charge, so maybe I wouldn't think this wanna-be Limit Break system is not as shitty as I thought.....
WHAT THE F*CK IS A MIST CHARGE.
Excuse my rage, allow me to explain. I started a new file for my FF12 for a couple of reasons; 1) I don't like Ashe anymore (Penelo ftw), 2) I missed the Zodiac Spear, and 3) I dislike my Liscences. So yea, I started a new game and tried following a Power-Up Guide, so right now my Vaan is at level 20 before speaking to Old Dalan for the first time. Levels 1 to 8 just involves chaining a crapload of Wolves in Estersand (and I mean like.. EXP Chain 250+ on Wolves), just getting LP so you can rush to get 2 Quickenings for Vaan (Red Spiral and White Whorl). Then levels 8 to 20+ involves going to Starfall Fields in Giza Plains, and theres 2 Werewolves that spawn. You basically just Mist Quickening them and run to the zone 3 feet away, where there is a save point which restores back all your mana. Killing both nets you 2400 EXP, which levels you up each time until around level 15. Rinse and Repeat. Yea, I know leveling like this is cheap, but I figured if I am restarting my game, its going to be perfect.
Anyways, so after using Quickenings and getting ridiculously frustrated over this stupid Shuffling thing (it sucks so hard when you have to run and heal 3 times for 1 werewolf just because the shuffle was incredibly lame), and after hearing Vaan say "How 'bout some of this?" for 2 hours straight, I think you can understand my angst.
Now, that I have composed myself; Can someone please explain to me the purpose of Mist Charges during the Quickening Sequence?
I understand that for every Quickening Liscence you learn, your MP Bar doubles/triples. On the menu screen and save screen you can see those Red Balls as well. I also understand thats how you cast Summons and Quickenings, Each Red Ball shown beside the spell name is the amount of Red Bars it takes from your MP bar to cast.
Now then; Red Spiral takes 1 Orb (Half my Mana Bar) and White Whorl takes 2 Orb (All my Mana Bar) to cast. So... I use Red Spiral and start the hell-of-a-mini-game;
Red Spiral -> Red Spiral I come out of that 2-hit Quickening with 0 Mana
Red Spiral -> Mist Charge -> Red Spiral I come out of that 2-hit Quickening with 0 Mana as well
What the hell was the purpose of the Mist Charge? It didnt "save" my Mana, It didnt do any noticeable extra damage... Just what exactly is it there for?
Red Spiral -> Red Spiral -> Mist Charge -> White Whorl -> Red Spiral -> Red Spiral -> Mist Charge -> Red Spiral -> Red Spiral -> Red Spiral -> Torrent/Cataclysm/Inferno I come out of that 9-hit Quickening with 0 Mana as well (and that was just off the top of my head, im sure there was even more Mist Charges inside of 1 combo
Please Enlighten me someone =/

Fox Confirmed for Super Smash Brawl!

A brand new trailer was revealed today for Super Smash Brawl at Nintendo World. As many of you know, I am a complete Super Smash Bros maniac, and the anticipation for this game literally kills me every minute. This Trailer for the first time actually feature a whole lot of in-game footage, instead of pre-rendered cinematic scenes. So now we got an actual glimpse of the New-Style of Game Play that Sakurai promises us all.
The bigger news of the entire trailer, was right at the end when they started playing Foxes theme, and showed him. Kind of a bad screenshot above, I know. Just watch the trailer that I've posted at the end of this entry and see him in action. I've got mixed reactions towards Fox's new Model. It's obviously inspired from Star Fox Command on the DS, but in comparison to the Old Fox from Smash Melee, it's got me with very mixed reactions. Animated, he definitly looks very cool compared to the still shot, and he still keeps that "speedy" movement he's had from Melee, even though he's got the most clunkiest boots I have ever seen. His boots remind me of the shoes Sora has in Kingdom Hearts. Also note, that Foxes Shine (Down+B) move seems to have been changed slightly; people say they have spotted Fox using Shine on Pit right near the end of the video, and it sent him flying at a 45 degree angle, which is completely different to the brokenness of Shine Spikes in Smash Melee. a Very Very Welcome Change.
Key Highlights from the Trailer Include; Zero Suit Samus resembling Shiek in many ways Pit and Metaknights many Multi-hit Combos Wario's very unique "jukey" animated style Several new stages shown, including Palutena's Kingdom, Mario Circuit, and a Yoshi-Island (Also basically confirming Yoshi too)
Watch it for yourself and lemme know your thoughts!

Well my 20th year wasn't exactly a year I am proud of, thats for sure... well atleast the first half of it. But anyways, that's all in the past, and now theres a bright new future ahead of me. I can't wait.
Anyways; Sometime before Weight: 215 lbs September 12th Weight: 196 lbs September 28th Weight: 179 lbs October 8th Weight: 177 lbs Target Goal Weight: 160-165 lbs (then gain more weight in muscle)
A little unhappy that I only lost 2 pounds in 10 days, It's getting tougher now I've noticed lol. I'm sure it's going to be even harder now that it's my birthday, since im going to be stuffing my face with some delicious birthday...

Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin a good time (havin a good time!)
Anyways, things are really looking up in terms of... well... everything. The otherday, I was talking with my friend Stephane until like 3 AM, when it finally hit me... SO many good things are happening in the near future. The list includes; Mom getting better each day, Losing weight and getting in shape, Centre NAD almost finished, Getting a job in the video game industry in Level Design, Meeting a bunch of new friends (Val/Phil/Louis-Etienne/Stephane/Seb) who I hope to know for a long time, Moving-in with Stephane at the same Apartment building as Louis-Etienne in July, Nintendo Wii releasing soon, and im sure theres much more to come. Oh yea, even my 21st Birthday is coming up on October 8th.
I've also been doing pretty well on my road to losing weight. I started going to the gym nearly every day now. When I first started I would go every other day, but now im making it a habit to go every day.
September 12th Weight: 196 lbs September 28th Weight: 179 lbs
So yea, 17 pounds isnt so bad considering not even a month has gone by. I'm still so fat though ; ; I'm hoping to hit I suppose 160 lbs by Christmas. Or when I get to a satisfactory weight for someone of my height (6'2") I'll see. I'm also listening to Phils advice and making it a habit to play an hour of Dance Dance Revolution lol.
Oh yea, next week we'll be finished Demo 3, and we finally get a week off. Unfortunatly, all my friends are going home for the week to Quebec, so I'm probably going to be pretty bored. Phil and Val invitez-moi a faire des choses XD ou... Phil call me and we'll do something like watch Pink Flamingo or anything lol.

Ouaaaaa! Its been a really long time since I've updated my LiveJournal hehe. I really didn't see a reason to update until yesterday, so here I am writing this.
I really haven't had any time to write anything at all, nor do I have any time at all to play FFXI, or anything else for that matter. School just takes up a huge chunk of your time, not that its a bad thing... It really is fun at the same time, and I enjoy spending time with my classmates (minus Simon Paradis-Fag). We're in our Demo 3 at the moment, which is creating a full-fledged Half-Life 2 Mod, with custom textures, models, characters, everything custom made. It's alot of hard work, but its also enjoyable to see a game being created from scratch. Maybe if anyone wants to try it out when we're finished, I'll send you it.
Whats next... Oh yes. Well my mother just got back from her "Healing" Trip in Peru. For those of you who know what happened to my mom, continue reading. For those who don't know what happened, You can try to search through my previous LJ Entries and read. Anyways, The healers name is Adan and he is really quite amazing. He performs miracles, I tell you. My mother sent him a picture, before she left, of herself from head to toe. Adan was able to tell us exactly what areas the cancer had spread inside my mother had just by looking at her picture. He was able to read her Aura patterns and whatnot.. I really wouldn't be able to explain it, but its fascinating. So yea, she went to Peru with my father for 3 weeks to get Healed by Adan. He says its a very long process, but she will be 101% cured! Adan sends out little goons (I doubt thats what they are called) to go fetch a large variety of rare herbs in the jungles, and she had to drink like a 3L thing of tea made with those herbs per day. Sometimes it was incredibly disgusting she said, but she had to drink it. Anyways, everyone who we know who has gone to see Adan, has come back cured. So I'm really optimistic now. There was one of my fathers friends, who had gotten Lung Cancer. The tumor in his lung was about the size of a fist, and the doctors told him "You have 2 months to live". Then before the 2 months we're up, he went to see Adan. And when he got back, he was completely cured. So yea... after looking my mother in the eyes and telling her that she would be cured, really keeps a smile on my face.
What else is there... Oh yea, I need to start getting on a diet, or atleast going to the gym a few times a week. Getting depressed and eating to feel better when my mom was sick & at the beginning of school got me out-of-shape and I'm not happy with it lol. Being at that school doesn't help either, since its such a intensive work schedual. Not to mention its very weird how im like one of the only overweight person >_> everyone else is like super thin lol. So atleast thats a little more motivation ;p
Oh ya, alcohol appreciation. Im usually not a drinker at all, after some bad experiences as a teen. But some friends at school have gotten me into appreciating it, and spending some time just chatting at bars with friends. Was actually more enjoyable than I thought it would be, and I would like to go more often. I actually planned on going today to celebrate my mom's healing process, but ended up leaving school early and forgot. Maybe tomorrow!
So yea.. that's about it. I do have an appointment at the hair dresser on tuesday... I wonder what kind of hair style I should get?

Here are some things that have been going on recently;
1) Video Game DEMO 2 Fuck this Demo, seriously. I hate being part of the class of people who are part of "change in the program" for school. You know how for the past 10 years, a school has done something in a certain way and nobody had a problem, but then the moment that its your turn to be a part of that 'something' the school decides to change how they do things precisely when you arrive? Yea thats how our fucking Demo 2 turned out at school. For __ amount of years, Demo 2 has always been "Create an In-game Cinematic", the moment our class does Demo 2, they change it to "Create an In-game Cinematic IN TEAMS OF 2". As you can probably tell by the way I am speaking, I'm not happy.
I'm not angry at being in Teams, I have no problems with group projects and I never have had any. But its the fucking person in my team that I, as well as the entire class, cannot stand. This lucky individual who I have to partner up with for my Demo is Simon (and he's French, so its See-Mo (silent n), not Sigh-Mon) and he is a fucking egotistical stubborn biggot who pisses the fuck out of me. You know those people who ALWAYS think they are right, no matter how wrong they are, or even if your opinion differs from theirs, they will argue with you for hours on end to prove that they are right and you are wrong, and they won't stop until you say your wrong. To even prove this, he even argued for a good hour with one of my friends that "Final Fantasy Spirits Within" was a very good movie.
Anyways, At the beginning of our project Simon was dictating everything, and wanted to do a project WAY bigger than we could handle. He sounded really confident that we could do it though, and I didnt want to get off on the wrong foot with him so I just went with his ideas.
Originally our cinematic was supposed to be; a giant 3-legged Robot rampaging through a surburban "Near-Future" city, then a Ninja skydives down, dashes towards the Robot, and then with a "Schwing" effect, the robot is chopped in half and explodes. (He is really into Metal Gear, and would Give birth to Kojima's children if he could; he even argued with me that PSP outsold DS and that PS3 is a million times better than Wii, and that Sony never stole from Nintendo)
Now our cinematic has be cut, and cut, and cut, and cut down to, a 2-legged Robot, walks through a question mark city that is unharmed, does a 180 turn, see's a tank turn the corner, and it ends there.
Why has our cinematic cut down this much? Well its simple. Simon does not fucking work period. It took him I think 2 and a half months to Model 1 Leg for our Robot. During that time, I modeled and textured half the city, then was told by him that we are changing our storyline, so I had to Remodel almost 80% of the City and scrap all my textures because it would ruin his "Vision". Fucking Simon, I hate that ego-driven faggot. What really made me hate him, was once I was at school at 8 in the morning, he shows up at 5:00 pm and goes to play Basket Ball (?) till 6:30, then Eats, and starts working at like 7:00PM, and im like "Get to work man, we are never going to finish"; and to my face, he actually had the nerve and audacity to say "What? I am doing more work than you." Right then and there, I felt like punching him in the fucking face. That fucking ugly face of his. Oh yea, did I mention its like his Body didn't evolve properly? He has this Head that looks like it belongs to a 35 year old, and the body of a scrawny pale boney 16 year old. Its just that fucked up. He reminds me of Quagmire from Family Guy, where his head is abnormally big for the rest of the body. So not only does looking at him piss me off, but it freaks me out at the same time.
I have to spend my time doing this piece of shit demo that was all his idea, with this stupid ugly annoying fucking asshole, and I have no backbone support. The teachers tell me "Well your going to have to work with people who you are not going to like when your in the industry, so get used to it". But atleast in the Industry its MORE than 1 person! Its basically me alone, taking on this tremendous project which is SO insane, and I have no one to fall back on to help me out with things I am not very good at. I fucking cannot wait for Demo 3 to start, Demo 3 is 2 HUGE teams of like 10-14 people, so even if he's in my project I dont have to work with that asshole.
He's from Quebec, along with his friend Stephane who came with him. Stephane on the otherhand, is probably the nicest guy you could meet, and me and him are really good friends now. I asked him once why he didnt want to go with Simon since they were friends from Quebec, and he said its because he doesnt work, and from Demo 1, he annoyed him tremendously. I'm telling you, this guy ALWAYS thinks he is right and that he is ALWAYS better than you. I cannot stress this enough in this LJ Entry. Almost everything I've done he thinks is bad and that he could do better. And no matter what Idea you have, he will disregard it and say his are better than yours. Fucking Douche.
So because of him, we are nearing the deadline for Demo 2 (the friday that is coming up actually) and we are one of the furthest behind demo's, and probably the ugliest one. This is why I have been so fucking busy this past 2 months, I'm going to school at around 8AM and leaving at 11PM. Today I actually woke up late due to burn-out, and felt the need to put my fucking anger on internet ascii.

So yea.. Life sucks. I mean really it does. Why is it that when you grow older, the world around you seems to deteriorate from when you were a youngster. Growing older should be better, not worse. I remember back when I was a kid, everything was so carefree and fun. I didn't have anything to worry about, and the only thing that ever got me upset was if it was raining and I couldn't go swimming that day.
Now there is so many problems and shit in my life, and I am wondering if it will ever get better. Free Time is basically inexistant in my life as of late. Weekdays consist of me waking up at 7:30, and going to school from 9:00am until 10:00pm, getting home at 11:10pm. At school I end up working on my Demo so much, and I am really exhausted from it by the time I get home. And if by chance I end up coming home earlier, I just want to either sleep, relax, or spend time with my mom. This is an intensive 1-year program, so it is expected that I have to work very hard, but I am not used to it at all. I didnt even have enough free time to post about Meo tagging me on that 5 weird things about you.
Then theres the whole issue with my family. My mother has stage 4 cancer, and its really a "take each day as it comes" kind of problem. I really cannot relax nowadays because of this, theres always a thought on my mind "what will happen to mom?". On the bright side though, her condition has been improving dramatically, and the cancer count in blood has dropped to 1.9 which is considered to be a normal cancer count. Everyone in the world has a cancer count of 0 to 3, If your cancer count is 0.1 to 3, it means that you have a tumor, but it isn't fatal and it is dormant. My mothers cancer count is at 1.9 which is very very good for someone who has stage 4 cancer. My mothers naturopath tells her that 1.9 is nothing, he knows patients who have a cancer count of 6800 who are still living. It really is due to the naturopathic stuff my mother is taking. She takes over 30 pills a day, all natural suppliments like bone enhancers and stuff, as well as every 2nd day she gets an IV of a whole bunch of other healthy suppliments. The person who had a cancer count of 6800, managed to get hers to drop to 6500 and she was ecstatic. So I guess I should be happy about my mothers situation, but obviously it still affects my every day life.
Then theres the issue with Money. I'm running out of money, my family have no money. We are trying to sell our house since we really cant afford to be living in such a big house. But alas we aren't having much luck. Not to mention that all of my moms suppliments also cost alot of money, and those are our priority at the moment.
Then theres FFXI, which I havent been able to play at all for the past 2 weeks due to the lack of free time. Which really pisses me off too, My Corsair is still at lv.30 and I have not been able to get it any higher. I also haven't been able to contribute anything to the LS, which also annoys me tremendously. You know I used to be totally against people my age who claim they have no free time. I used to think those people were just bad at managing time, since I was in college and I had tons of free time last year. It turns out I was wrong, and they were actually right in saying they had very little time to play FFXI.
I miss being a kid.

This puppet is definitly my favorite lol. He's so cute; but not in a cuddly fluffy way more of a kicking ass and taking names kind of way. He just looks so cool, sporting his miniature crossbow. He doesn't need ammunition either! He was smacking our mobs for some good melee damage, than firing an arrow for even better damage. I haven't seen the Mage Frame in action, but this frame was definitly my favorite so far! He even has the Link hat, although its brown... It still has a really cool design on the forehead. I'd also like to say that Arcuballista is terribly cool. Arcuballista is the TP Move that this frame uses, not only does it sound cool, but it looks even better than most ranged weapon skills do! He gets like a super twirling aura around his miniature cross-bow and fires off this arrow of pure light which scatters into this huge 'swooshing' effect around the mob. I just found it ridiculously funny because all of that is coming from this little puppet and his toy crossbow. Was also pretty cool how Puppets Skillchain with you as soon as they see you have enough TP. Me and Nutcracker were dishing out Skillchains left and right!
This puppet alone makes me want to level PUP lol, but alas my real focus is on Corsair, which just dinged 30 last night. Hopefully I'm finally finished with Valkurm/Qufim noobs and can actually find decent PT's.

So... Finally the day has arrived and I could play the job I have been thinking about for months. It definitly met my expectations as well! Its a blast to play COR, its never the same. I like how this job is kind of a Hybrid DD/Support type of job. Although its a little too early to tell how it'll be near 60+ and during end-game HNM, its fairly easy to assume it'll be quite useful. BLMx5+COR PT's will be amazing for Fafnir and such, since COR could put on Evoker's Roll and Wizard's Roll, whereas a Bard is stuck with Ballad only. Corsair's Roll is a god-send, everyone loves the additional EXP Up, it allows you to level on weaker monsters more quickly. Also, Random Deal seems to be really useful, even though I dont have it yet. Random Deal resets a random ability back to 00:00 Cooldown. Reset Meditate, Sneak/Trick Attack, Berserk, Provoke, Jump... really... its just going to become tremendously useful. The problem amongst most of the current COR's is... what exactly do COR's sub? So far its been an on-going argument between WHM, RNG, WAR, and NIN. People argue WHM for similar reasons to why BRD subs WHM. RNG is argued for the increased Range Accuracy as well as Barrage and Sharpshot. WAR is there for the people who believe Berserk is better than Sharpshot and Barrage, and finally NIN because of Dual Wielded Archer's Knives and Utsusemi. Personally, I'm leaning more towards RNG/NIN/WAR than WHM. I feel that COR/WHM alone wouldnt have enough abilities to fill out the "Support Job" role that BRD and RDM fill so well. Lack of MP, Dispel, and a 1-minute Cooldown inbetween Rolls doesnt give them much to do as a /WHM. They'll get a chance to toss a few Cure's and thats about it. atleast with the other 3 subs, You could become a Hybrid DD Support; You can do some noticeable damage and support the party with your 5 minute buffs. Who knows, maybe it'll all come down to how Quick Draw works. If Quick Draw is based on Stats and R.Accuracy, I'll definitly go towards the melee subs. Either way I have all but WAR completely leveled, so I dont have a problem.
I'm about to hit LV20 Corsair, and I'm sort of angry that I fell behind so much to Nsx/Kuro/Steph team because I got the game a day late. They are all in the 30+ and theres probably absolutly no way for me to catch up. Oh well, c'est la vie. Its not the end of the world anyways, I'm just going to level COR at my own pace and eventually complete it. I dont even think there are AF Quests implemented for the new jobs... that would suck if you leveled it and couldnt get that sexy AF. And Hey! I got COR to 20 in less than 2 days without a power leveler or a static PT; I'd say that's pretty good!

Oh my... All Phantom Rolls have a 1-minute Cool-down (Ala: Blood Pact, Use one and all of them are cool-downed). Meaning they are more DD-Support than Bard-Support. I like this job already. Was afraid of getting stuck in the whole Bard Mechanic Routine (not that I hate it... it does do good support), but it turns out now I can Roll, Quick Draw, Random Deal, and Range Attacks, in-between Rolls. Very Nice.

ToAU Get (Finally... after like tons of driving around checking various stores) I fucking hate Transportation in this game. It's probably one of the only things about FFXI that I truly detest, One of the only things that I liked WoW more for. Boats and Airships just piss me off. I log in after patching everything and its 23:50. So Now I didnt get the chance to hand in my testimony before the day ended, so I have to wait the entire 24 vana'diel hours to get my Boarding Pass. Then I'll be you 10$ that as soon as I get to Mhaura I'll miss the Boat, Another 10 Minute Wait + 7 Minute Ride time. Once thats done, I get the COR quest and head to the Docks to Arrapago Reef, Watch me miss that fucking boat too.
Dear Square-Enix,
I know you are trying to make it more realistic by having wait times on airships and boats. But we are human beings with lives to attend, None of us care about the realism of a Boat and Airship, and I can guarantee you that none of us ENJOY waiting for the boat and/or airship. Or ATLEAST Give us a fucking way to BOARD the airship while being Away from the Computer Screen ex: Pay the Ticket and you'll automatically be transported into the Airship/Boat once it docks.
Yours Truly, "Fuck-boats-and-airships" Teffie
EDIT: So yea, FUCK Boats and Airship Wait Times FUCK Quests that involve waiting to 0:00 JST or Vana'Diel FUCK Canada for getting NO PC Versions but FUCKLOADS of PS2/Xbox360 Versions FUCK ME FOR FALLING BEHIND IN COR LEVELS.
